You've found it. Sydney's BEST traditionally made Almond Croissant!
We take a classic butter croissant and fill it with sweet almond paste, then top with toasted flakes almonds and icing sugar.
You have to taste it to believe it!
Croissant – wheat flour, butter, water, sugar, yeast, vegetable oil, salt, improver. Filling – almond meal, butter, sugar, cornflour, egg.
Best almond croissant I've had. So fresh & surprisingly still fresh a few days later.
Warmed up in the airfryer and so fresh delicious!! We also made some croissants pudding
Quite nice, but I have had better. Probably a bit too sweet for us.
These almond croissants would have to be one of the best I tasted. Enough sweetness to not be sickly and so much more than just a croissant with a sprinkling of almond slivers.
