A simple, timeless and comforting combination of roast vegetable slices combined with diced tomatoes and fresh, Mediterranean herbs, this is delicious with a fresh salad on the side.
Filling: pumpkin, potato, zucchini, eggplant, carrots, garlic, pepper, onion, basil, tomato, maize corn flour, vegetable oil, salt. Pastry – rice flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, maize starch, dextrose, egg powder, milk solids, salt, water, soy protein, sugar, soy flour, antioxidant, preservative.
Was excited to eat the lovely Gluten free pastry, crispy and not breaking apart all over the place like some gluten free pastry tends to do. Was disappointed when I got to the veggies inside. A bit flavourless. Just tasted like steamed veggies in tomato paste. I’m going to try and take them out and sauté them in some olive oil and spices and put them back in to make it more appealing.
